Special farewell lunch for Peggy

From the South Wales Evening Post -
Friends of an elderly golf enthusiast threw her a surprise bash to say goodbye as she prepares to move to Jersey.
Members of the senior ladies team at Ashburnham Golf Club held a special lunch for 86-year-old Margaret "Peggy" Jones, who lives in Llanelli but is going to Jersey to live with her children.

Team captain Liz Antoniazzi said Mrs Jones would be missed as a friend and as a golfer.
"She's very competitive and she still walks the course regularly," said Mrs Antoniazzi.
"Peggy didn't start playing until her 50s.
"Her husband played golf and she started when they moved to Llanelli.
"Her husband passed away last year so she is moving to be with family, but she's still very active.
"She's one of life's characters and we will miss her."
And fellow teammate Gwen Williams said age had not put a stop to the determined golfer.
"She's still very good," said Mrs Williams.
""She's been with the club a long time and will be much missed."
